Severe Symptoms of Scabies

A more severe form of scabies that can occur is called Norwegian scabies (also known as crusted scabies). For this form, symptoms of scabies can look similar to psoriasis and include:
 
  • Numerous blisters
  • Thick crust over the skin
  • Redness
  • Thickened, deformed nails
  • Slight itching.
